Puget Sound Amateur Wine and Beermakers Club

Thanks to everyone who entered the Amateur Wine, Beer and Specialty Beverage Competition at the WA State Fair this year. I’ve had some technical difficulties with the excel/pdf files leading to some impossible to read and incorrect beer and specialty results. They are corrected and posted now – sorry for any confusion.

We had 94 wines, 112 beers, and 33 specialty beverages (cider, mead, non-alcoholic) entered this year. They were all judged on Sunday August 18th.

Exhibitors can pick up their ribbons and judging sheets at the Ag-Hort office in the J Barn for the duration of the fair. Our club booth is also in this building and the beverages are on display. There is a special award for fan favorite wine label so please stop by and vote!

Even if you pick up your ribbons and judging sheets at the fair we’d like to invite you to attend our October meeting where we celebrate the fair awards. This will be on Friday October 4th starting at 6:30. We’ll have food and wine and beer. It’s a great way to meet fellow wine, beer, cider and mead makers and celebrate everyone’s accomplishments.
